Welcome to 'School's Out 2014', the official parent blog with information on volunteering and fundraising for the Senior Party 2014.  You will be able to find updates on events, answers to your questions, and contacts for donating cash or products for our students' final blow out after graduation.

Time is flying by; excitement is building.  Before you know it, we will be tearing up to Pomp and Circumstance, and knowing that our children will have a fun, safe time with their friends right after graduation.  Get involved.  We guarantee you will have as much fun as the grads will.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Coat Check / Gift Bag Chair - Needed
• Responsible for individual bags for grads' personal belongings during party
• Responsible to gather items and fill grad's bags for party
• Coffee Lounge Chair - Eva Marthaler / Julie Jochim
• Decorations Chair - Joelle Purvis Allen
• Responsible for decorations for venue
• Directory Chair - Needed
• Responsible for student directory fundraiser
• Donations (In-Kind) Chair - Needed
• Responsible for obtaining items for gift bags, the silent auction, and the party
• Entertainment Chair - Rolf Johnson / Mary Jo Wiechmann / Rocky Beaty
• Responsible for activities at party, including major all-student activities and smaller special interest activities
• Food Chair - Nancy Torrison / Shauna Novak
• Responsible for planning, purchasing, preparing serving and cleanup of dinner, snacks and breakfast for grads
• Responsible for feeding of volunteers
• Fundraising Chair  - Needed
• Responsible for organizing and implimenting fundraising activities for the senior party
• Responsible for student directory fundraiser (may be a separate chair)
• Medical Chair - Mary Sanderlin
• Responsible for staffing a first aid room at the party
• PR / Website Chair - Alison Albrecht
• Registration Chair - Daon Karpan
• Responsible for all aspects of registering seniors for the party throughout the year 
• Responsible for working with clubs / organizations to insure participation from entire class
• Security Chair - Susan Bruce
• Responsible for staffing and carrying out security at the venue
• Service Project Chair  - Beth Kreitzman
• Responsible for planning and carrying out a small service project as an activity option at the party
• Transportation Chair - Carrie Johnson
• Responsible for arrangement of transportation to and from the party
• Responsible for staffing the buses with parent chaperones
• Treasurer - Miriam Goodman
• Responsible for all aspects of financial matters pertaining to the party

• Responsible for working with the venue management 
• Responsible for communicating venue specific information to the committee chairs
